The 4-star beach front Novotel Manly Pacific hotel is situated on one of Australians finest beaches. Guests awake to an ocean sunrise and a breath of sea air in airy, contemporary rooms.
A morning surf or a waterfront jog followed by breakfast made to order and barista coffee is just one way to get your day stated in this beautiful setting.
With its spectacular beachfront location, Novotel Manly Pacific’s design team contacted Helioscreen looking for a customised printing solution for four new awnings to be installed on the front of the building to provide guests protection from the hot midday sun while also providing coverage for the newly opened Daniel San restaurant that adjoins the hotel.
The brief was to install 30m of retractable awning coverage across the front of the building that would have the new Daniel San artwork printed across the full size of each of the new awning fabrics. Initial printing samples were conducted utilising the Helioscreen Printex awning fabric that provided ideal results. The final printing for the awning fabrics was done locally on oversized printing machinery to enable the larger 8×3.5m fabrics to be printed in a single pass for a fault free finish.
Now sitting proud across the front of the building visitors will see the four 8m wide single construction Helioscreen retractable awnings that project more than 3m from the face of the building. The printing seen from the road and beachside now stands out as a beacon for the popular Daniel San restaurant.
