Retractable Roof Awning Brisbane and Sunshine Coast

Installation of a retractable roof awning system at this beautiful house located north of Brisbane at Castaways Beach on the Sunshine Coast and designed by Aboda Design.

The motorised Varioscreen retractable roofing system was installed to provide shade onto large open deck/pool area overlooking beachfront. Awning system size was 6m wide x 4m extension and was side fixed into support beams that were custom made for project by the local Helioscreen installation agent. Optional wind sensor was also installed to retract the system when strong sea winds come in unexpectedly. Fabric was Helio 100 solution dyed acrylic in Cement colour with Dulux Powder coating in Silver Pearl Kinetic.
