This Melbourne family home is based in Williamstown.
With Melbourne weather being all four seasons in one day, the client was looking for a solution that would work with the seasons. This outdoor entertaining area and swimming pool required retractable shading that could be controlled at will.
The Solution
How we resolved the problem
The Helioscreen Cassette awning was a perfect fit.
Due to the installation requirement, our customer had to manufacture custom-fit brackets that the Helioscreen awning was fitted to.
The cassette awning allowed the fabric and mechanisms to be entirely protected by the weather when the awning is retracted.
It also has the extra benefit of providing shading when swimming in the warmer weather.
Keeping your awning modern and contemporary.
We’ve been able to achieve this modern look by choosing Dulux powder coat colour Anotec Silver Grey. The Helioscreen system utilizes the highly water-resistant 100% solution-dyed acrylic Helio 100 fabric which provides protection from the harsh UV and heat. As well as a perfect colour blend into the surroundings. The colour chosen is Charcoal
The size of the awning was 4800 x 4000mm. All operated with a Somfy Remote Control.
