Remote Control Zip Screens & External Blinds

The requirement for this project on the NSW Central Coast was to have a usable outdoor room that was protected from the harsh UV  elements and create a shading solution with no visible gaps between the posts. The Helioscreen Zip blind system was chosen for this reason. The system encapsulates the fabric in a small side channel so there are no visible gaps and the fabric it cannot come loose, with each system individually using  Somfy motors.

The Zip Screen System gives the occupant the optimal control over the amount of sun and shade required. This project was managed by the Helioscreen agent along with the builder to provide the best alfresco space available. The zip screens were powder coated in the Duratec range to give the best protection available due to the location of the blinds.

Fabric chosen for this system was from the X Screen range. This is a 5% open fabric giving the most optimal shading for this area. This fabric has a large colour range to work with most projects.
