A full cassette awning (like our Rubix, Cocoon, or Cassette models) completely encloses both the fabric and the mechanical components when retracted, providing maximum protection from the elements. A fabric cassette awning protects the fabric and motor but has a slightly different design with an adjustable angle cassette and integrated torque bar. Both offer excellent weather protection, but cassette awnings provide the most streamlined appearance and complete protection when not in use.
